Our Perspective
Our Perspective

>> The information age has made enormous amounts of information available about companies and the people who lead them. In addition to traditional information sources, social networks are increasingly "connecting" people in the same industry, or profession. The recruiter's proprietary "rolodex" is no longer so private and exclusive.

>> We've been doing search long enough to have gotten pretty good at it. One of the things we've learned is that Top performing executives are almost always well regarded by their employer.

Our process

The Search process provides structure and form to our efforts but in the end, success depends on our ability to use the tools, techniques and adapt our process of executive search to solve the unique staffing needs of our clients. A thorough discussion of our search process is available (See search process) but a couple of unique features to our approach include:

  • Status meeting two weeks after beginning the search:
We hold a status meeting two weeks into the search to review our progress, introduce the most promising candidates developed to date and deliver any preliminary market data that could impact our efforts. This enables us to evaluate our search strategy and adjust our efforts if necessary.
  • Partners make all sourcing calls.
Sourcing is a bit of a lost art in the information age but it can be the most valuable technique a recruiter employs. We don't just source prospective candidates, we speak to customers, vendors, peers and alumni of the companies on our target list. Effective sourcing provides a third party reference and (often) an introduction before a prospect is called
  • Partners do research.
Our Partners are intimately engaged in research because it provides them valuable insight into the market and can lead to creative solutions not immediately apparent at the onset of the assignment.
